Live as satisfied people in God
(Applies to Dads and Moms too)
There was a younger pastor that came to an older pastor and said:
“Hey, how do I help my folks grow in Christ?
The older man paused and said:
“Well, take time to be with God and to delight your soul in Him;
to walk with Him and everything will work out.”
The younger man was surprised and said:
“Well no, I wasn't asking about myself
— I was asking about my people.”
The older Pastor said:
“Yeah, but all you offer your people is yourself.
● If you are richly satisfied in God,
● if your day only works because the goodness of the Father
and what Jesus is doing in your life
— that will communicate well,
not religion, not do to be.
● You think: ‘if you do all these things God will love you.’
Stop it — God loved you, He pursued you, He's changing you.
● Enjoy that and you are: free from fear as you feel from guilt
or shame or overworking,
● as you just delight in what God has done and is doing,
● as you trust Him for the future!”
Your life will preach your heart will be warm and full
and you'll be joyful, and people will follow you.
People will follow you and they will delight
— not to know you but to know your Savior!
Vive Como Gente Satisfecha en Dios

● Había un pastor más joven que vino a un pastor mayor y dijo,
¿Cómo puedo como ayudo a mi gente a crecer en Cristo?
● El hombre mayor hizo una pausa y dijo:
— “Bueno tomar tiempo para estar con Dios
y deleitar tu alma en el caminar con Él y todo saldrá bien.”
● El joven se sorprendió y dijo:
— “Bien no, no estaba preguntando por mí mismo;
— estaba preguntando por mi gente.”
● El hombre mayor dijo:
— “Sí, pero todo lo que puedes ofrecer a tu gente eres tú mismo.
● Si estás ricamente satisfecho en Dios,
● Si tu día solo funciona porque la bondad del Padre
y lo que está haciendo Jesús en tu vida,
— se lo comunicará bien, el mensaje correcto,
una relación íntima, no una religión vacía;
— no es hacer para ser.
— Puedes pensar: ‘si hago todas estas cosas Dios me amará’,
● Cambiar este pensar: La verdad es que Dios te amaba
● Te persiguió, Te está cambiando
● Disfruta eso; anda en este libertad y gracia,
● Ser libre de miedo, de culpa o vergüenza
o sentirse culpable por exceso de trabajo.”
Mientras te deleitas en lo que Dios ha hecho,
mientras confías en él para el futuro,
— tu vida predicará, — tu corazón será encendido y lleno
— y estarás alegre y gente te seguirá.
— La gente te seguirá y lo harán deleite
— no para conocerte ¡sino para conocer a tu Salvador!
